Nearest at the finish when third over 7½f here (good to firm) on her penultimate start; hasn't won since August 2017 but resides on a perfectly fair handicap mark and evidently appreciates the stiff nature of this track; chance.

Forecasts

Straight Ash (4/1), Abushamah (4/1), Rosy Ryan (5/1), Espresso Freddo (11/2), John Caesar (11/2), Bollin Ted (6/1), Cosmic Ray (13/2), Graceful Act (17/2), Size Matters (25/1), Bob's Girl (25/1)

Verdict

A race which features plenty of related Beverley form lines and is massively competitive despite lacking some of the quality of Division 1. Finding the winner isn't an easy task with a handful of realistic options which would include Straight Ash, Graceful Act and the front-running Cosmic Ray. However, for small stakes the tentative advice is to opt for the fairly handicapped ROSY RYAN who should be suited by coming fast and late off a strong early pace
  1. Rosy Ryan
  2. Graceful Act
  3. Cosmic Ray
