Beaten a head by an Archie Watson-trained winner on debut over C&D (good) in June and again occupied that position when a beaten favourite at Musselburgh (7f, good) 23 days ago; drawn wide for nursery debut.
Placed on all three starts (running to a consistent level of form), including when runner-up to a subsequent Brighton scorer at Wolverhampton (7f) in July; has ample C&D experience; every chance on nursery debut.
Kept on well from off the pace when finishing second on debut here (5f) in May; back on track at Leicester latest (fourth) after a modest second start; tackles a new trip on nursery debut.
Stepped away from Chester for the first time in his short career when producing his best performance so far in defeat to Gallaside at Nottingham (1m+, soft) last week; appears to need a test of stamina so this stiff track could suit; player.
€16,000 yearling; low-key in three starts but hails from a much respected trainer so is worthy of market inspection on nursery debut; first start beyond 6f.
Headed deep inside the final furlong when second in a modest seller at Catterick (7f, good to soft) three weeks ago; has subsequently left Tom Dascombe to join Paul Midgley.
Big prices and well beaten on all three starts (5f-7f); heads into a nursery off a lowly handicap mark but with plenty to prove.
Started 33-1 on nursery debut at Catterick (7f, good to soft) three weeks ago and predictably didn't manage to finish in front of too many (12th of 14); 5lb lower, yet with little reason to expect better; stablemate of Northern Hope.
Has weakened quickly after racing prominently on his last couple of starts (hasn't beaten a single rival); cheekpieces applied to curb that enthusiasm; very lowly rated on nursery debut; makes no appeal.

Forecasts
Lord Of The Alps (2/1), Northern Hope (5/2), G For Gabrial (3/1), Hashtagmetoo (13/2), It's Not My Fault (10/1), Doncaster Rosa (12/1), Blausee (12/1), Sir Havelock (14/1), The Trendy Man (33/1), Must Dream (33/1), Teasel's Rock (50/1)
Northern Hope doesn't have the best of draws in stall 11 but otherwise is perfectly entitled to be on the premises on nursery debut on the basis of previous form, while similar comments also apply to the consistent Lord Of The Alps. The selection G FOR GABRIAL also has a disadvantageous berth (stall 10), although with stamina in his armoury his experienced rider Paul Hanagan could feasibly elect to drop him out before hoping that the gaps appear inside the final couple of furlongs. The suspicion is that Chester (has run there five times) mightn't ideally suit, and he took a noticeable step forward when switching to a more conventional track (Nottingham) last week.
- G For Gabrial
- Lord Of The Alps
