7,500gns yearling; second foal from a moderate dam; likely to find a few wiser on racecourse debut.
€25,000 yearling; half-brother to Chessman (7f AW) and Handbell (6f AW); showed tenacity and all the attributes of a future winner when runner-up to Morisco (fourth has won since) on debut at Newcastle (7f) 18 days ago.
£26,000 yearling; soon beaten (seventh) when finishing behind today's rival Flylikeaneagle at Newcastle, and the Johnston-trained runner is open to more improvement.
Noble Mission colt; $30,000 yearling; dwelt and always in rear (50-1) when sixth of seven to Tell Me Al over C&D (good) a fortnight ago.
Sir Percy colt from a 6f-7f juvenile winning dam (Russian Punch); it's probable that he'll find others stronger.
€4,000 yearling; second foal from an essentially moderate dam who was admittedly a half-sister to the 1m Listed winning juvenile Seolan; safer to look elsewhere for the solution.
Muhaarar colt from an unraced dam out of a half-sister to the 1m4f Group 3 winner Rabah; trainer 4-11 (36%) at Beverley and his juveniles usually know their job; Atzeni booked to ride; likely player.
11,000gns yearling; made a promising start to his racing career when finishing a staying on second to a 1-6f at York (7f, good); that form could be boosted at Carlisle on Tuesday with the third-placed horse (Viceregent) in action.
€16,000 yearling; 28-1, and last of 12 at Catterick (7f, good to soft) last week; needs to very swiftly improve upon that poor opening effort or a similar rear-division finish will be on the cards.

Forecasts
Wise Glory (13/8), Flylikeaneagle (2/1), Yoshimi (11/4), Kumasi (4/1), Hooroo (10/1), Sir Charles Punch (28/1), Clifftop Heaven (28/1), Noble Bertie (33/1), Strawman (40/1), Fast Track Flyer (66/1)
An interesting contest which features a couple of noteworthy newcomers. Kumasi cost 130,000gns as a foal and is a half-brother to the useful 6f-7f winner Lake Volta, while Wise Glory will almost certainly know his job for the Crisford/Atzeni combination. However, both Yoshimi and FLYLIKEANEAGLE have already shown up positively on the track with the selection shaping like a definite future winner when second to a more experienced Tom Dascombe-trained colt at Newcastle (7f) in late July.
- Flylikeaneagle
- Wise Glory
- Yoshimi
