Group 2 winner who won the Listed Wolferton Stakes at this season's Royal Ascot meeting (in first-time cheekpieces). Best off at the weights here on official ratings, and runner-up back in Group 2 company last time marks him out as the one to beat.
All four of his wins have been over 1m2f, on varying ground. Yet to win in higher than a class 3, however, and this is tilting at windmills.
Listed winner at three. Unable to add to that in three runs this year, but went close in a Listed York event in June. Well held in an Ascot Group 2 last time. Others preferred.
Scored at both Nottingham (1m2f, soft) and Sandown (1m2f, good to firm; under penalty) in novices' company in May. Didn't handle the step up to Group 2 level next time, but beaten only 1L in Listed Newbury event last time. Each-way appeal.
Looked to be destined for better things when the comfortable winner of a Newmarket Listed event in May. Well held in the Prix du Jockey Club last time, but this is more realistic. Each-way player.
Won a Windsor novice event last October (1m, soft). Has been campaigned abroad so far this year, being placed in two Group 3 events, and beaten just over 4L in the Group 1 Deutsches Derby last time. This looks tougher.
