Was successful at Hamilton (1m½f) back in June and since then he has been running consistently well without another victory. He was second here over 1m last time, beaten by just a neck. Drops down in trip slightly off the same mark. Big player.

Scored over this C&D two starts back. Went very close to following it up here over the same distance last time where she was second of 10, beaten by just a neck. Up 2lb but is in good form so in with a great chance.

Was successful for the first time this year on his latest start over this C&D in a 11 runner field where he got up by a neck. Gone up 3lb for that success but has won off a much higher mark than this. Has a good chance of following up.

Lightly-raced gelding who has had just the four runs so far. He has shown some promise in his last three starts. Was a close fourth of nine last time at Sandown (1m). Down in trip where he has been eased 1lb since latest run. One to consider.

Scored at Fairyhouse (7f) two starts back but then failed to follow it up when sixth of 18 over the same course (7f) last time. Has been eased 2lb by the handicapper. Each-way claims if she bounces back.

A C&D winner here in June 2018. Was successful at Nottingham (6f) earlier this season by a head but has been well held on his last three starts. Down 1lb and up in trip here. One to watch for now.

Is on a losing stretch which goes back to March 2018 when he was successful on the AW at Wolverhampton (7f). Has shown glimpses of his old form this season but has to bounce back from finishing 10th of 15 at Beverley (7½f) last time.

Remains a maiden after nine starts. Returned to action here over 6f last month where she could only finish ninth of 12 runners. Has been eased 3lb and is up in trip. Others makes more of an appeal.

Forecast

Grab And Run (2/1), Rosemay (3/1), Chinese Spirit (7/2), Chaplin Bay (5/1), Royal Duchess (6/1), Nakakande (8/1), Roaring Forties (9/1), Carlovian (14/1), Sienna Dream (25/1)

Verdict

ROSEMAY can complete a hat-trick of wins here to continue her excellent form. She has only gone up 2lb in the weights which may not be enough to prevent her from her latest success over this slightly shorter trip of 7f. Chinese Spirit has gone down narrowly here on his last two starts and although this slightly shorter trip will suit him, he may have to settle for finishing in the placings again, while Grab And Run looks capable of being in contention at the finish here on what is just his second handicap start.
  1. Rosemay
  2. Chinese Spirit
  3. Grab And Run
