C&D winner. Has returned to form this season, bolting up at Nottingham on his return prior to an excellent third of 26 at Royal Ascot and a win at Haydock last time. Stiff 5f is ideal and can go well with Mosse in the saddle.
Group 2 winner at the Curragh in 2017 and getting back down to a workable handicap mark after some below par efforts this term. Only run here was disappointing back in 2016 but this is a class drop and he's not ruled out.
More consistent than his recent strike-rate suggests with his losing run going all the way back to a Listed success at Haydock in 2017. Stiff 5f looks ideal and has run well on both his starts at this venue; solid each-way claims.
Belatedly gained a first turf success at Pontefract last time out. 6lb higher for that here but he's a very useful performer on artificial surfaces and AW form can translate well to Ascot. Has run well here before and gets a class act in the saddle.
Won a valuable York handicap in June and too bad to be true when tailed off at Newbury in Group 3 class when last seen. Up 7lb for his York success but relatively unexposed and yard do well with their sprinters. UAE Champion Jockey rides.
Has a very respectable strike-rate and while only sixth in this race last year, he's run well in defeat at this venue several times. Stiff nature of this track probably makes him a little vulnerable in the finish though.
Consistent sort who goes on any ground. However, only beat one home in this race last year and he is above his highest winning handicap mark; others make more appeal in a wide open heat.
Better on AW than turf and hinted at a return to form last time out at Wovlerhampton when fourth of eight. 5lb below his last winning turf mark in the Stewards' Cup in 2017 but yet to win in eight starts at this venue (placed once).
Made it three wins from his first six starts on seasonal reappearance at Windsor but disappointing in four starts since. Wants fast ground to be seen at his best and others make more appeal.
Won twice on AW in the winter of 2017/18 but is struggling to get competitive subsequently. His eighth of 27 in the Stewards' Cup last time out wasn't devoid of promise and a 3lb drop from the handicapper could prove lenient.

CORINTHIA KNIGHT won with a bit in hand in a competitive small field at Pontefract last time out and given that he's both run well here before and gets a top international jockey in the saddle with Andre de Vries, he may be able to defy a rise in the handicap. A reproduction of Recon Mission's York performance should see him go close while Final Venture ought to be thereabouts once again after three creditable runs so far this season.
