Signed off last season with a narrow victory in a Doncaster handicap. Shaped very well after being steadied at the start when 2L fourth of 15 to Flavius Titus here in April, and only concern is that he has been absent since.
Bolted up on handicap debut at Newbury last year but has struggled to find his form this year. Did shape a lot better than the result in the International Handicap at Ascot (7f) last time, though, and worth a try at 6f given how he shaped there.
Winner of an Epsom handicap in July, and back to that sort of form when 5¼L sixth of 23 to Poyle Vinnie in Stewards' Sprint at Goodwood on Saturday. Claims if repeating that, but's he not the most consistent.
Not beaten far whan making his debut for this yard over C&D in June, but he's proven very disappointing in two subsequent starts, and is hard to back with confidence despite sliding in the weights.
Won at Yarmouth a year ago and back to form out of the blue when landing a C&D handicap last week by a nose from Emily Goldfinch. Had nothing to spare there, so may find a 5lb penalty his undoing in a stronger race.
Back to his best in recent starts, winning at Pontefarct a month ago and running just as well when runner-up there last time. Still on a fair mark, but best recent efforts have come for a good 7lb claimer, and bit more to do here.

Good Effort (5/2), Alaadel (11/4), Colonel Frank (10/3), Count Otto (7/2), Ice Lord (5/1), Swiss Knight (7/1), Musharrif (8/1)
Not many to be positive about, although Count Otto was back to form at the weekend, and Good Effort is one who could be revitalised by a switch to sprinting and is respected on that basis. Preference is for ICE LORD, however, who ran a stormer behind Flavius Titus here in April, and that race has thrown up plenty of subsequent winners. He is sure to go well assuming he's fit after a break.
