Weak in the market on his first run since coming from France but allayed those fears when making all to beat a next time up winner in a maiden. Only beaten 2L into third on handicap debut next at Bellewstown after a slow start and highly respected.
Dual course winner (6f and 6½f) back to something close to his 2018 best where he won three times of late with third of 15 over 6f at Navan and fifth of 18 over 6½f here the last twice. Never won over 5f but has each-way claims.
Gained second win in five 2019 races when impressing over 5f at Naas last month. Upped 8lb now so life gets tougher but clearly thriving at present so can't be ruled out.
Entering the veteran stages of his career, winner of seven of his 54 turf starts on the Flat. Best effort since Navan win last October when last seen in April finishing third of 22 at Naas. Layoff since a worry but well capable if ready.
Dropped down to 5f for the first time since joining this stable and finished last in a 12-runner affair at Down Royal (5f; good) when last seen. That effort a concern and slow starting a real worry in such a big field over the minimum trip.
Only 1lb higher now than when registering her sixth career score over this trip at Down Royal in May. Midfield effort since temper enthusiasm a little and others are preferred.
Hamilton success penultimately made it two wins this year and went oh-so close to following up when nabbed on the line next over this trip at Pontefract. Same mark here so should again make his presence felt.
Still winless since April 2017 and recent 13th of 15 after a layoff combined with modest form after joining this yard last season is reason enough to look elsewhere.
5f winner at Ayr couldn't recover from a slow start when fourth at Musselburgh the very next day under a 6lb penalty which equalled what he's up by here. On the up now and one for the shortlist.
Narrow defeat of Little Clarinet over this trip at Navan ended an 11-race losing run but made favourite since he disappointed in finishing ninth of 12 at Down Royal. Claims on his Navan form.
Off the mark over 5f at Navan latest and that form has been working out really well. Still an unexposed sprinter having previously raced at trips up to 1m and highly respected with the jockey booking a clear positive.
Gained second 5f win of career and this season latest when winning with a bit in hand at Down Royal. Upped 7lb in this tougher race the goalposts have moved significantly but one for a very long shortlist.
Well held on handicap debut at Sligo although in fairness that came after 10 months off the track. Didn't however see enough in maidens last year to be confident.
Fast finishing fifth to Early Call over 5f at Navan behind Early Call prompted a crack at 6½f here latest where she was again a close up fifth. Others perhaps of greater appeal but no surprise if she makes the frame.
She may be a veteran but the application of a visor seems to have transformed her this summer and was only just touched off in her hat-trick bid at Down Royal last time out. Tougher ask again here with revised mark but can't be ignored.
Daughter of Poets Voice who has been left wanting in four career starts to date including handicap bow last time out.

In a fiendishly difficult contest more than half of the 22 runners make some appeal but the vote goes to recent Navan winner FACE OFF under the excellent Colin Keane who is usually worth a few lb in such contests. Dangers aplenty include the very much in-form filly Powersville and mare Sweetest Taboo along with last time out winner Bahlwan.
- Face Off
- Powersville
- Sweetest Taboo
