An opening maiden full of newcomers, so it is hard to know what to expect from most of these. Taramansour is one of those having his first run, a half-brother to a pair of Group 3 winners and one with a bright future. Ballydoyle are doubly represented in this, and their Camelot colt, Mythical, also catches the eye as he starts out for powerful connections. However, the other Aidan O'Brien runner is the selection in the form of CORMORANT. The son of Kingman made a pleasing debut over C&D at the end of last month when he managed to finish fourth in what will likely turn out a strong race, and he can put his experience to good use.
