Struggled in three starts since winning impressively over this trip at Chelmsford in May. Races off a mark 5lb higher than for that victory. Also declared 17:00 Brighton Wednesday.
18 race maiden placed in a 1m classified event here in May. Well beaten in handicaps since however and others hold stronger claims.
C&D winner finished a good third in a 1m handicap on good-to-firm going here in May. Fair sixth over the same C&D subsequently and cheekpieces are tried for the first time dropping in trip. Also declared 17:00 Brighton Wednesday.
Victorious in this race off a 4lb lower mark 12 months ago and successful over this trip at Wolverhampton in March. Well held in two starts since returning from a break however and others make more appeal.
Finished runner-up over C&D the last twice including off this just under a month ago. Hampered when beaten 2½L last time out and is a leading contender once more.
C&D winner placed twice in June including off a 3lb higher mark in a 5f handicap at Newmarket (good-to-soft). Well beaten over 6f here last time out however and is probably best watched at present.
C&D winner who has recorded some moderate efforts this campaign including when eighth of nine over this trip at Lingfield (good-to-firm) last time out. Racing from out of the handicap in this event. Also declared 17:00 Brighton Wednesday.
Forecasts
Imbucato (11/8), Tarrzan (4/1), Hellovaqueen (7/1), Seaforth (8/1), Rock In Society (9/1), Don't Cry About It (9/1), Malaysian Boleh (14/1), The Special One (16/1)
IMBUCATO has won over C&D in the past and he can register a victory in the opening race on the card. The selection has a good jockey booked to ride and he can get the better of Tarrzan who has run well at this venue on his two most recent starts. Third place can go to Hellovaqueen who carries top weight stepping up in trip.
