Registered a victory by ½L in a handicap over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-firm) last time out. Raised 3lb for that victory and is a notable runner once more.
In good form in the main this season and ran a fair race when 4L sixth over 7f at Musselburgh (good) just over a fortnight ago. Strong claims off a mark 5lb higher than for his latest success.
Multiple winner incluidng in a 7f AW handicap at Chelmsford in May. Held on both subsequent starts and has placed just once from seven previous turf starts.
Successful twice most recently over 1m1f at York (good) in July last year. Well beaten over 1m at the same venue last time out and is interesting off a mark 1lb lower than when 1L fourth at Ayr (good) last month.
Well beaten in both starts since returning this season. Wears blinkers for the first time racing off a mark 1lb lower than for his latest success.
Best effort this campaign came when finishing runner-up in a 6f handicap at Hamilton (soft) last month. Raised 1lb for that effort and is interesting stepping up in distance.
Struggled in three starts since joning this stable most recelty over 6f at Doncaster (good-to-firm) at the end of June. Market support would be notable on this occasion.
Sole success came in a 7f AW novice race at Chelmsford in July 2017. Well beaten in three starts on turf this campaign and others make more appeal.
Showed good form when finishing 1½L third in a 7f handicap at York (good-to-firm) in May. Struggled in two starts over further the following month and return to this distance is a positive following a break.
Not beaten far when finishing fifth over an extended 7f at Beverley (good-to-firm) on his penultimate start. Struggled last time however but is well handicapped having won off much higher marks in the past.
Running well in defeat earlier this year including when fifth over this trip at Thirsk (good-to-soft) in June. Absent since and is an interesting runner off a mark 12lb lower than for her latest success.
Signs of ability in two of her three starts so far most recently when 6L fourth over 1m at Thirsk (good-to-soft) in June. Market support would be notable dropping in distance on handicap debut.
Decent effort when fifth over this trip at Catterick (good-to-firm) last month when returning from a break. Drop in trip should suit racing from 1lb out of the handicap having appeared not to stay 1m1f at Redcar (good-to-firm) last time.

Mujassam (9/2), Explain (6/1), Sword Exceed (6/1), Bea Ryan (7/1), The Stalking Moon (7/1), International Man (8/1), Twin Appeal (9/1), Chookie Dunedin (12/1), Mr Strutter (12/1), Zapper Cass (14/1), Magic City (20/1), Mango Chutney (22/1), Watheer (25/1), Eldelbar (33/1), Barton Mills (50/1)
MAGIC CITY placed on his most recent start over this trip and he can put a couple of disappointing efforts over further behind him to take this competitive looking handicap. The veteran is taken to get the better of his rivals here with second place going to Mujassam who has been running well in the main this campaign while third place can go to International Man who wears blinkers for the first time dropping back in distance.
- Magic City
- Mujassam
- International Man
