Placed on seasonal debut at Kempton over this trip on the AW in April but has finished well held in valuable handicaps on all three subsequent outings. This looks a less competitive contest however.
Running well in the main this season including when finishing runner-up over this distance at Epsom (good) a month ago. Notable runner racing off a mark 10lb higher than when winning by 4L at Brighton (6f, good-to-firm) in June.
Three time winner last year including twice over this C&D. Started this season with three placed efforts including when beaten 1L into third here in May but has struggled in cheekpieces (absent here) the last twice.
Put a disappointing effort behind him when finishing third over this distance at Redcar (good-to-firm) last month. Races off the same mark here and tongue tie worn for the first time that day is retained.
Held in two starts since winning by 3½L over 7f at Chepstow (good-to-soft) in June. Worth a check in the market off a mark 5lb higher than for that victory.
Decent 2L third in a six runner 6f handicap at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) last week. Well beaten in a valuable 6f contest at Goodwood (good-to-firm) on Saturday and is having his third run in six days.
Beaten 1½L when finishing sixh of nine over C&D on good-to-soft going on his penultimate start. Well beaten at Ascot (6f, good-to-firm) last time out however and more needed from out of the handicap.
