Winner at Beverley off 1lb lower mark at the start of the season but has proved to be inconsistent since, including when last of 13 at Hamilton (6f, soft) last time. Needs to significantly bounce back to be competitive.
Largely been in good form this season and posted a career best when second in competitive 6f York handicap in July. Looks to be well-treated in this company with a good claimer on board. The one to beat.
Worked his way back in the right direction for new yard when 1L fifth at Redcar (6f, good to firm) in July. Still off a career-low mark but hasn't won since 2017. Place claims.
Three-time C&D winner, including on his penultimate start, before being outclassed in 6f Chelmsford handicap last time out. This looks an easier contest and solid claims if bouncing back to his best course form.
Multiple course winner in the past and an admirable performer for connections. Hasn't been in great form this season and most recent seventh in 6f Redcar handicap leaves a bit to be desired. Each-way claims at a track he loves.
2lb higher for win in similar contest at Nottingham three starts ago but has been out the frame since, including when down the field at Hamilton (6f) last month. This is an easier contest but revival required.
C&D winner off a 5lb higher mark in April 2017 but has drawn a blank this season. Recent 4L sixth behind Bossipop over C&D means he has a bit to find with that rival.
Hasn't won in two years and only one significant run to note this season when second at Ayr (6f) in June. Well beaten in two starts since and others readily preferred.

Forecasts
Muscika (13/8), Watchable (11/4), Pipers Note (11/2), Lahore (6/1), Dalton (6/1), Teruntum Star (9/1), Bossipop (9/1), Gin In The Inn (10/1), Upstaging (22/1)
The run of Muscika at York last time sets the standard and a repeat of that effort would see him be hard to beat but while he remains progressive he could be vulnerable of his mark to BOSSIPOP, whose run on the AW can be forgiven for and could be dangerous at he track he seemingly thrives at. The admirable Watchable hasn't shown signs of age catching up with him and can run on for the places alongside Lahore, who looks to be coming slightly back to his better form.
- Bossipop
- Muscika
