Been very progressive this season finishing second twice prior to winning well on his last two starts. Raised 7lb for latest neck success at Newton Abbot over 2m5f. Stays well and should make a bold bid for the hat-trick.
Has really clicked into gear this season having been very frustrating previously. Won at Leicester in February then again at Cheltenham in April off mark just 1lb lower than allotted here. Returns from mid-summer break and should be thereabouts.
Ran well at Cartmel recently in first-time blinkers when five lentghs clear at last before blundering and being caught in home straight. Raised 2lb but has fair claims if headgear has desired effect once again.
Stayed on dourly at Perth on Wednesday over two miles to record game success and turns out again quickly under 7lb penalty. Has looked doubtful stayer at this trip in past so has stamina questions to answer.
Won modest three-runner Southwell novice hurdle in 2017 then absent for two years. Not disgraced in three runs since return but has struggled to get home recently over 2m4f and trip may again be an issue.
Yard has 33% record with its chasers at this track but this gelding didn't look a natural over fences in three starts in 2017. Runs here 9lb lower than last chase mark so has been given a chance by the handicapper.
Gone close numerous occasions this season without managing to get his head in front. Looked to have gone off the boil when well beaten at Southwell last time and will do well to bounce back.
