Below par on last three runs over hurdles but gained back-to-back wins when last seen over fences in November. Returns off a 9lb higher mark and this may be on the sharp side.
In good form over fences and his latest second in a Limerick novice chase is close to his best form. Stable in good form and makes his handicap debut off a workable mark. Likely contender for a stable that won this last year and in 2015.
Sole chase win came in 2017 and has failed to build on that early promise. Proving regressive and disappointing of late. Stable has a good record in this race and also runs Or Jaune De Somoza.
Returned from a 226-day break with a decent third at Killarney and twice a winner over hurdles here. Concern is he seems better fresh and can't take much racing nowadays.
Broke his chasing maiden tag at Ballinrobe in May and now racing off a 10lb higher mark. Not far off that level in a novice chase last start but others likely better handicapped.
Gained chase win number eight at Ballinrobe in May and comfortably held off higher in two starts over fences and one over hurdles since. Others likely better handicapped at present.
Possibilities on old form but likely he is weighted up to his best nowadays following his Listowel win two starts back. Tailed off when disappointing last time and others preferred.
Landed the 2017 Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival amid golden spell for trainer. No win in 12 runs since but now drops out of Grade 2 company on first run since November 2018. One to note in the betting.
A cut above this at his best but his recent fresh record isn't the strongest and he's unraced since racing over hurdles in August 2018. Market best guide as to expectations.
Returned from a 100-day break to win over hurdles on just his third start since joining this stable. Returns to chasing 2lb below his last winning mark and has a good jockey booking. Rates a leading contender.
Twice a winner over fences from eight starts but can make mistakes as he did last time following his Punchestown win. He appears to be improving though and could be involved if brushing up on his jumping.
Sole win over fences came in April 2017 and on a long losing run. Still remains high in the handicap and while his second last start was a sign of better things, this will be much tougher.
Five wins from 44 starts and remains 7lb higher than May win. Poor in three runs since and easy to overlook at present.

For a stable in good form and with a strong record in the race OR JAUNE DE SOMOZA comes here off the back of his best form to date and on an attractive opening handicap mark. Lake Takapuna is also well handicapped and has more to offer for his new stable while Mega Mindy is so consistent it's very hard to leave her out of the equation.
- Or Jaune De Somoza
- Lake Takapuna
- Mega Mindy
