Sole defeat to date came in last year's Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot, and better than ever when winning a 6f handicap there in October off 96. Absence since is a concern, but a classy sort who goes well fresh, and much respected.
Best effort last season when winning a 6f handicap at Newbury in October off 85. Ran better than the result (started slowly) on his return at Haydock in June, but faces a stiffish task on these terms.
Failed to beat a rival on sole turf start at this track, but progressive otherwise and good third on handicap bow (OR 83) at Chelmsford last month. This is much harder on paper, and others are preferred.
Produced a career best when splitting Khaadem and Space Traveller at Newbury in May, and shaped much better than the result when behind former in G3 Hackwood Stakes there last time. Has a big chance at these weights, and taken to bounce back.
