Posted an improved effort to win on the AW last time (partnered by useful apprentice) over 7f at Chelmsford (goes well there); now has to cope with a 6lb penalty. Yet to win on turf (0-7), disappointed on his only previous start here (soft ground).
Fairly useful handicapper, scored three times as a juvenile (arguable that his better form is on turf). Ran as well as he ever has on turf last time when second at Catterick; nicely treated if she can build on that run; nicely berthed on the inside.
One of two runners from this yard who showed promise on her only juvenile start. Looked more the finished article after a break this year (scored first-time out); found it tough since then having been allotted a hash looking mark.
Switched back into maiden company to score over 7f at Catterick having made all and found plenty for pressure when challenged. Had a slightly tougher task back in a handicap last time; eased slightly in the weights, may not get an easy lead.
This is a suitable course for her usual front-running tactics although she may have company in this having disappointed earlier in the week (did too much on the pace). Ran with credit when last seen here over 1m; faces a contested pace.
Not really shown his form this year despite a rapidly reducing mark that now sees him here off a career-low mark. May have raced too close to an overly strong pace last time; not one to make too many excuses for.
