Ex-Irish 23-race maiden who ran respectably penultimate start here over hurdles when a fair third but was a well beaten fences in 2m3f chase here last time. Eased 2lb but obviously finds winning a big ask.
Trainer hasn't had a winner for more than six years. Won twice in Ireland for former handler at up to 2m3f. Weakened from last when third here last time over 3f shorter. Stamina has to be a concern but has been eased 3lb.
0-10 over fences and has run with little dash on his last two starts and been dropped a total of 10lb. Fine yard capable of revitalising a horse and is well weighted on pick of previous placed handicap form.
Showed a good attitude to land first chase win on 14th attempt last time at Newton Abbot over 3m2f. Raised 7lb and drops back in trip but clearly in good heart and should go well once again.
12-race maiden whose two starts so far over fences haven't been without promise. Has tended to make mistakes though so needs a better round of jumping to be competitive but has a squeak with a clear round.
Last win came at this track in 2017 in 3m2f handicap hurdle. Second when fell at sixth at Worcester last time over fences. Eased 2lb but has plenty to prove at present.
Won twice between the flags this spring but was beaten a long way over hurdles on first start under Rules last time and races here from 2lb out of the handicap on return to larger obstacles. Looks to have a tough task.
