Shed her maiden tag at the fourth attempt at Wolverhampton (7f, standard) after three respectable starts as a juvenile but proved most disappointing on Newmarket handicap debut over 1m. Perhaps the drop back in trip will help her bounce back.
Sole win came over 6f on soft ground in August 2017 (Newmarket) but has gone close on a number of occasions since. Remains 3lb higher but more than capable of being involved.
Admirably consistent, albeit is stronger on the AW (4-19) than on turf. Remains 3lb higher than last win and a bit below that the last twice. Would likely need rain to be at her best on this surface.
Won twice over 7f at Chepstow last month and possible the busy spell took it's toll when she was well held in two disappointing runs since. Others preferred off this current mark.
Scored twice in 2017 but without a win since despite falling since. Decent third at Chepstow last time but this is tougher still and she perhaps needs rain if she's going to end this losing run.
Returned to action in May with success coming at Thirsk (7f). Below that in two of three runs since but a good second on heavy ground two starts back. Conditions suit and could be competitive if visor (replaces cheekpieces) works.
Winner twice from five starts since joining this yard including over 7f at Kempton two runs back. Raised 11lb and below that at Chelmsford and is likely to struggle off the same mark in a considerably higher grade.
Forecasts
Ascended (3/1), Chica De La Noche (4/1), Material Girl (4/1), Zoraya (9/2), Hunni (5/1), Jungle Juice (9/1), Comeonfeeltheforce (11/1)
A few of these would be suited by rain, including Material Girl who is taken to find extra in a first time visor. There's question marks against a few of these and it's a difficult contest to work out, so it may be worth taking a chance that the drop back to this trip will see ASCENDED in a better light and she's certainly to not one to give up on yet for her leading stable. Hunni is consistent and likely to be thereabouts once again.
