Al Kazeem colt. Dam 6f winner out of smart 6f (including as a juvenile) winner Dark Missile. Stable well capable of having one ready and market support would be noted.

Dansili colt, related to winners, offered something to work with on debut in 7f Salisbury novice (firm; 14-1) when fifth of 14. Should be fitter and wiser now, positive jockey booking.
Kodiac colt, €68,000 as a yearling, related to some smart French winners. 66-1 and beat only one of 13 rivals home on debut at Newbury (7f, good to soft) this month. Big step forward called for.

Nicely-related New Approach colt who cost 140,000 guineas as a foal. Unfancied 16-1 chance on debut in 7f Salisbury novice 16 days ago, has plenty ground to make up on Berlin Tango from that contest.

Gutaifan colt has changed hands for some nice sums. Finished fourth in a Leicester novice (7f, good to soft; 14-1) on debut last month, seemingly tiring late on. Fitter now and should build on that effort.

Elusive Quality colt is a half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 6f Open Wide. Alan Kings' debutant needs a close look in the betting.

Aptly named Sir Prancealot colt, slowly away and never involved when finishing long way last of 13 on debut at Windsor (6f, good to firm; 40-1) in May. Best watched for now.

Fountain of Youth filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful winner up to 1m Better Built. Others make more appeal ahead of this first start.

Forecasts

Berlin Tango (1/1), Itkaann (5/2), Arabian Moon (5/1), Inflamed (8/1), Kings Creek (9/1), Puzzlebook (20/1), Son Of Prancealot (25/1), Clandestine Affair (33/1)

Verdict

Not an exacting standard from those that have run but BERLIN TANGO showed enough in a Salisbury novice event first time out and should be wiser now. The Andrew Balding team are in rude health and he may be the answer, though any strong market support behind debutant Arabian Moon would certainly be eye-catching. Fellow newcomer Kings Creek need a look while Itkaann should have more to offer on second spin.
  1. Berlin Tango
  2. Arabian Moon
  3. Itkaann
