Nicely bred filly that has run well both starts this season, although also showed a few signs of temperament last time. Should improve for this trip and no surprise if she was good enough on handicap debut today.
Only had the three starts, but took a big step forward formwise when finishing her race off really well for fourth at Newmarket last time. Promises to be well suited by this trip, and with more to come, looks a player on handicap debut here.
Seems to reserve her better efforts for quicker ground, which she should get here. Ready winner at Leicester in May and a solid effort at Windsor last time, a repeat of which gives her chances here.
Two reasonable efforts to her name as a 2yo but didn't improve on them when making her reappearance at Lingfield last month. Possible to make excuses on account of the ground there, and could yet do better here. Not discounted.
Too bad to be true at Nottingham last time and better judged on earlier efforts, however they were only moderate and you'd be hard pushed to say she's going in the right direction. Best watched at present.
Getting the hang of things with each run and almost got there at Nottingham last time, just denied in a driving finish. Nudged up 2lb for that but no issue with the trip or ground and ought to be involved in the finish if repeating.
Won a bottom grade contest at Bath two starts ago but was soon put in her place next time, seemingly finding the extended trip/6lb rise beyond her. Needs more in this better contest if she's to come out on top.
Forecasts
Lady Mascara (5/2), Alandalos (3/1), Daryana (5/1), Confils (11/2), Innocent (6/1), Amorously (8/1), Tronada (14/1)
Lady Mascara deserves to win one after a very good effort at Nottingham, where she was only just touched off, and she ought to be on the premises if repeating that. Innocent could do better now she's back on a sound surface but preference is for handicap debutante DARAYNA, who took a good step forward at Newmarket last time and was a big eyecatcher in the process. She can come good today. Alandalos is another making her handicap debut and although she's not yet caught fire, it's early days.
- Daryana
- Lady Mascara
- Innocent
