Kempton winner in May but well held in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and a shade disappointing at Chelmsford last time. Claims on her best effort, but needs to show she can produce it on turf.
Hasn't progressed since a promising debut, although switch to nurseries saw him pick up place money at Leicester last time. Beaten 7½L there, however, and clearly needs to step up to score.
Similar form in a trio of qualifying runs, although still learning, and wasn't given a hard time when beaten over C&D last time. May still improve now handicapping, and merits a market check.
Showed plenty on debut at Bath over 5f, and performed to a similar level next time, but ran poorly on first try over 6f at Ripon. Could easily prove that form wrong now handicapping, but hard to have any confidence.
Bred to stay well, and best effort came on only try at 6f. Drop to 5f no help last time, although ran badly in any case, and may need an even stiffer test to show him to best effect. Has been gelded.
Well held in two starts on AW, but much improved on turf debut when 1¼L second of 10 to Twice As Likely in a C&D novice last time. Cheekpieces tried now, and she's not taken lightly.
Flattered by her fifth in a C&D maiden in May, and she has run poorly on her last two starts, failing to beat a rival on nursery bow at Leicester most recently.
Well beaten last of four on nursery debut at Lingfield (5f, good to firm) after ten weeks off. Makes limited appeal on that evidence, but possible she needed that, and she may do better at this trip.
Has shown a glimmer of ability in three runs at around 5f, not looking a natural at that trip. Possible improver now handicapping over further, and market should be useful in comparison with stablemate Bartat.
Soundly beaten on all five starts to date, including in selling company, and failed to improve trying 7f last time. Easy enough to put a line through her chances.
Forecasts
Don't Joke (3/1), Seraphinite (7/2), Fantom Force (4/1), Red Sun (9/2), Chromium (10/1), Champagne Highlife (14/1), Good Times Too (14/1), Bartat (20/1), Birkie Queen (50/1), Swiss Bond (50/1)
Not an easy race to approach, with a few of the likelier types needing to bounce back. A tentative vote goes to CHROMIUM, who comes here after a career best over C&D. Seraphinite, Fantom Force and Red Sun have shown enough to get involved, and their chances will be telegraphed by the market.
