Yard excel with sprinters and this mare is twice a C&D winner. Solid runner-up at Ripon last time where showed her usually early pace and has solid claims off 1lb lower mark.

On a hat-trick after 6f wins in Windsor seller (for Richard Hannon) and last time in a handicap at Ayr. Carries 5lb penalty but still well handicapped on pick of old form. Drop in trip only question mark.

Appears at best with some give underfoot and only win came at Nottingham on soft ground. Not beaten far last four starts but appears in handicapper's grip at present. Any rain would help his cause.

Better on AW but won over C&D 12 months ago off 2lb higher mark. Shown little last four starts however and doesn't appear in same form so is hard to recommend on current evidence.

Fourth over C&D last time having dwelt at the start in first-time visor. Blinkers now tried. Tends to run well here and is previous C&D winner so not without hope if new headgear does the trick.

Raised 6lb following convincing win over C&D last time where won with a bit to spare. Won here on only previous visit too (over 6f) so sure to go well again if in similar mood and is open to further improvement.

Slightly missed the kick here last time but came home well to finish second off the same mark. Should be in the mix again, especially if able to jump off on terms with them this time.

Forecasts

Timetodock (9/4), Tomily (11/4), Merry Banter (4/1), Landing Night (13/2), Hawaam (7/1), Rosina (12/1), Something Lucky (14/1), Alsvinder (33/1)

Verdict

A typically tight-knit sprint handicap but a chance for TIMETODOCK, the only three-year-old in the line, to enhance his perfect 2-2 course record. He won with something in hand last time and a 6lb rise may not be enough to stop him on his favourite course. Tomily has been a smart handicapper in his time and still retains enough ability to be competitive coming here on a hat-trick mission. He won't be far away. Nor will top weight Merry Banter, another who likes it here. Something Lucky should be thereabouts, while first-time blnkers might help Landing Light, another who likes this sharp track.
