Forecasts

Citron Major (11/4), Galloway Hills (4/1), The Armed Man (5/1), Royal Prospect (13/2), Pipers Note (7/1), Muscika (8/1), Gymkhana (10/1), Lahore (16/1), East Street Revue (16/1), Prince Ahwahnee (40/1)

Verdict

The feature race of the afternoon sees The Armed Man bidding to land this prize for the second year in succession having run out a neck winner from a 2lb lower mark in 2018. At the foot of the weights, a positive mention should be made for the 6yo East Street Revue who certainly isn't discounted from a handicapping perspective. Phil Makin saddles three runners with the progressive Galloway Hills holding the strongest chance under the very capable 3lb claimer Sean Davis. However, a chance is taken on the topweight MUSCIKA following a fairly solid effort (a close fourth) in a Class 2 Optional Claimer at Yarmouth.
  1. Muscika
  2. Galloway Hills
  3. East Street Revue
