Off the mark on second chase start at Bangor in May over extended-2m4f, he's since run a fine race in third at Stratford having gone up 9lb and should be in the mix again here.

Better form over timber with two placed efforts of late, including here, but remains with something to prove having fallen in both previous starts over fences.
3
Horse silk
Ballyknock Cloudp,t26
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-11| J: Nick Scholfield| T: Jack Barber| OR:  104
4/1
Multiple winner in point-to-points and finished fourth of eight over C&D last month in latest rules attempt. That sort of run will put him in the mix again this afternoon.

Murray Mount27
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-7| J: Tabitha Worsley(5)| T: S-J Davies| OR:  100

Twice a chase winner in 2017 for trainer Henry Oliver, he also scored over timber last year before leaving that yard. Unconvincing in two Stratford runs (chase/hurdles) for new handler and has plenty to prove.

Isle Road8

Improving with each of three runs for this trainer, winning well over hurdles last week at this track (made all). Has to cope with 10lb higher mark over fences but comes into the reckoning after that success.

This Breach26
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-5| J: Bryony Frost| T: J D Frost| OR:  98
25/1
May have had some excuses when fading fast over 3m2f on handicap bow here last month, though was sent off unfancied at 20-1 in any case. Just the four starts under rules and has shaped with degree of promise in novice events.

Gentleman Mooreh18
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-13| J: Daniel Hiskett(3)| T: Miss N L-Beavis| OR:  92
7/1
Has been runner-up in three of his last four starts in this sphere, most recently when going down 2L at Worcester (2m4f, good; 20-1) a fortnight ago. Looks set to be in the shake-up for prize money again.

The Majort26
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-6| J: Brendan Powell| T: K Woollacott| OR:  85
20/1
Looked a likely winner here in April over C&D, travelling smoothly before coming to grief at two out. Hasn't managed anything near as convincing in two runs since.
9
Horse silk
Kingston Mimosap26
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: Alan Johns| T: Mark Gillard| OR:  78
6/1
Maiden after six chase starts, picking up three fairly moderate placings along the way. Should give his running and capable of snaring a small race somewhere before long.
10
Horse silk
Starlit Night18
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-0| J: David Noonan| T: C J Down| OR:  65
40/1
Just 1-23 as a hurdler and has not cut a lot of ice in two chase starts recently. Has plenty to work on, seemingly, from out of the handicap.

Forecasts

Damut I'm Out (3/1), Ballyknock Cloud (4/1), Isle Road (5/1), Pointed And Sharp (11/2), Kingston Mimosa (6/1), Gentleman Moore (7/1), The Major (20/1), This Breac (25/1), Murray Mount (33/1), Starlit Night (40/1)

Verdict

Isle Road was a good hurdles winner here last week and could well have a say in this despite racing from 10lb higher back over fences, while Kingston Mimosa should pick up a small contest over fences before too long. It's too soon to be writing off the hopes of This Breac but the safe option is DAMUT I'M OUT. He scored at Bangor in May and his Stratford effort since suggest he's now been over-burdened by the handicapper just yet.
