Back to form when successful in a Thirsk claimer last time out, showing a good attitude to come out on top in a protracted battle late. This is clearly tougher, but conditions fine and that might have done his confidence good.
Was in good form last year, winning twice over this trip and showing he goes on varying ground in the process. Not found his form this season as yet and this is a tougher contest, so needs to bounce back to best now.
Another progressive 3yo that performed well in a better event than this at Newmarket last time, finishing third and looking like he was ready for a crack at this trip. May well improve again for it and if that's the case, has chances.
Had won five on the bounce before being beaten at Chester last time, but ran well and would have needed the run after a long absence. This trip possibly on the short side but can't be allowed too much rope on the front end all the same.
Winner at Newmarket last October but not really progressed as expected this season, although not disgracing himself in the process. Blinkers given a try now and it's possible they could get him back on track.
