Switch to handicap for the first time and step up to 1m1½f latest saw an improved effort when fifth at Ballinrobe. Can improve further now for another slight step up and is worthy of each-way consideration.
Doing his best work late on when fifth of 17 over 1m4½f at Tipperary latest on handicap debut so not entirely sure dropping back in trip is ideal. That said the effort certainly more persuasive than many can offer here so not ruled out.
Second over 1m6f at Bellewstown suggested breakthrough imminent and duly obliged by a nose in a pulsating finish latest over 1m2f at Naas. 5lb rise for such a narrow win perhaps harsh but trip could be about perfect here.
Thrice-raced handicap debutant beaten 14L plus in all three starts. Jockey booking the only noted positive here.
Handicap debutant from a top yard so not one to be taken lightly and has shown glimpses in three starts so far. Up 4f from last start and off three months since so could do a deal better here.
Last of 18 on handicap bow latest after hinting at potential in maidens beforehand. Jockey booking a major positive but from a wide draw and after such a poor effort latest a leap of faith is needed.
Only beat one home at Ballinrobe last month on handicap debut and had shown little before that in maidens. Others preferred.
Promise of his handicap debut fourth noted as he was made favourite and duly obliged despite a troubled passage over 1m1½f at Ballinrobe latest. 6lb higher here but looks one to stay on the right side of and highly respected.
Yet to make the frame in six and despite slightly improved effort when sixth of 17 at Tipperary latest upped in trip overall he is easy to oppose.
Navan third last September showed he has ability but didn't really build on it afterwards and on his first start in nine month his stablemate Full Moon Magic looks first string.
Had a break since non-descript three-year-old bow in April and hasn't shown enough to have any confidence here ahead of his handicap debut.
Never better than eighth in six races to date and simply can't be fancied here.
Ninth of 14 on return at Ballinrobe saw her 21L behind re-opposing Elllat and no amount of weight-pull enough to suggest reversal with that rival.
Back-to-back 11ths continue the poor run of form for this veteran of six starts and she simply can't be fancied here.
Handicap debut for a respected yard but having beaten only three rivals in as many starts so far she makes little appeal.

Ellaat (3/1), Millford Sound (9/2), Ultra Pride (11/2), Ozone (7/1), Never Shy Away (15/2), Full Moon Magic (9/1), Grove Gold (9/1), Franklyn (11/1), Appian Way (12/1), Light Of Fire (16/1), Vita Veritas (25/1), Leahman (25/1), Beau Geste (25/1), St Estephe (28/1), Mosh (33/1), Pimstrel (40/1), Celtic Red (50/1), Vineyard Sound (66/1)
After winning in good fashion latest ELLAAT is worth following in his bid for back-to-back wins with a slight step up in trip also in his favour here. Fellow winner Millford Sound should also appreciate the extra 1f having been second over 1m6f two starts back and he may prove the biggest threat although Full Moon Magic is the sort who could yet improve plenty for Joseph O'Brien.
- Ellaat
- Millford Sound
