Makes hurdles debut after showing a fair level of ability on the flat since switching to this yard. Tough task off joint top-weight, but has achieved plenty more than most of these and could possess the necessary talent required.
Returns to maiden hurdle company after a decent effort in defeat when fourth in a handicap at Roscommon (3m; good). Does have to give weight away but is a major player if able to reproduce form of latest effort.
Doesn't seem particularly straightforward. Has fell (after jinking at a hurdle) and ran out on his last two starts. Showed she does have a level of ability though when third at Kilbeggan (2m3f; yielding). Can't be trusted at the moment.
Arguably ran a career-best race last time out when belying odds of 100-1 to finish fifth in a 20-runner maiden hurdle at Punchestown (2m; good to yielding). Definite place claims if able to replicate that level of form.
Bounced back from a slightly underwhelming effort two starts ago when finishing in midfield to grab third at Tipperary (2m4f; good) last time. Stable in good form at present and she is more convincing than most in this field.
Failed to complete when pulled-up on rules debut at Wexford (2m4f; good) in a Mares Flat Race. Was even pulled-up in a couple of point-to-points before that. Subsequently best watched for the time being until offering more encouragement.
Managed to complete on rules debut, but could only finish ninth of 11 in a bumper at Roscommon (2m; good). Previously been pulled up on her first career start in a point-to-point at Balingarry. Should improve for a hurdle but needs to do much more.
Has shown nothing to suggest she is capable of winning a race of this nature on both rules starts to date. Hard to make a case for after being comprehensively beaten on those two occasions. Others make more obvious appeal.
14-race maiden on the flat. Makes debut in this code and is a half-sister to a 2m winner. Would need to step up by some way on all she has shown so far to cause any serious threat on hurdles bow.

Alargely uncompetitive maiden hurdle, in which plenty can be ruled out with confidence. There are a small group of four who look the ones to focus on, Bridgets Cross being one of those after she posted a career-best last time when fifth at Punchestown. Monaco Rose is also interesting on her hurdles bow after recently registering a couple of victories on the flat since joining this stable. Despite falling last time out, Villa Moura had been shaping with plenty of promise prior to that mishap, but preference is for GAMBLING MISTRESS who has the most convincing profile out of these and did little wrong in a better race when third at Tipperary on seasonal return.
- Gambling Mistress
- Villa Moura
- Monaco Rose
