Fair sort with 3-13 record this year, though has previously come up short in Listed company and not a major shock should she do so once more.

A long way behind Annie Fior in a Gowran Park handicap in May, first-time blinkers couldn't bring about a change in fortune at the Curragh since and are discarded here. Others with more pressing claims. Visor returns.

Best effort this year when runner-up in a 7f Listed race at Musselburgh in early-June, she has twice run credible races since in this grade at the Curragh and Pontefract. May want a decent pace to aim at.

Made winning start in handicaps at Leopardstown over this trip last month, though since been well held in this grade at the Curragh (eighth of nine, beaten 4L). Must improve to have a leading role.

Progressive sort, latest effort when 2½L fourth of seven to Buckhurst in Group 3 International Stakes at the Curragh (1m2f, good). Maiden winner over this trip earlier in season and sure to benefit from this jockey booking.

War Front filly, twice struggled in pattern-races this term and more exposed than a few of these. Trainer runs three in this and stablemates command more attention.

Progressing nicely this term with win at Leopardstown and Limerick before narrow defeat at latter venue last time in rated contest. Cheekpieces added now and could take another step forward to play a role.

Decent efforts in Group 3s either side of winter break, not spotted since a tame fade in the Cheshire Oaks (1m3½f, good to soft) in May. Drops in trip and a bounce-back would come as no shock given connections.

Finally broke her maiden tag at the fifth time of asking when scoring well over a mile at Naas late last month. Since finished 3½L fifth of 7 to Peach Tree in Group 3 at Leopardstown (1m6f, good) last week. Down in trip and scope for better still.

Gowran Park maiden winner in May over this trip, closely matched with Morpho Blue on subsequent effort at Limerick. This is more demanding again.

Winner over this trip at the Curragh in May, since gone close in 7f Listed event at Carlisle when perhaps doing too much too soon. Entitled to sound claims on that evidence and has scope for better.

Viadera (5/2), Wisdom Mind (5/1), Hand On Heart (5/1), Lady Wannabe (6/1), Secret Thoughts (13/2), Morpho Blue (13/2), Simply Beautiful (8/1), Snapraeceps (8/1), Cnoc An Oir (20/1), Annie Fior (20/1), Thiswaycadeaux (40/1), Mona Lisa's Smile (50/1)

Verdict

A Curragh scorer in May, Viadera improved on that effort when going close in this grade at Carlisle since and might well have scored had she not been in front quite so early. There should be more to come and she's a player here. Secret Thoughts is likely to leave her Cheshire Oaks effort well behind after a break and joins Ballydoyle stablemate Simply Beautiful on the shortlist, the latter having run well in a Group 3 over a much longer journey last time. LADY WANNABE has also gone close in Group 3 company this term and, having won her maiden over this trip at Cork, could take another step forward in the hands of the inimitable Frankie Dettori to bag this prize.
  1. Lady Wannabe
  2. Simply Beautiful
  3. Viadera
