€260,000 yearling. Half-brother to top class 7f to 1m7f winner Joshua Tree. Chased home odds-on stablemate at Leopardstown on debut over a mile last month; obvious claims.
War Command colt cost connections a fair penny, improved on second start at Listowel last month over 6½f when beaten just over 4L. Could be more to come tackling new trip.
By Footstepsinthesand, sports a hood on debut and is a brother to useful 11f-2½m winner Lagostovegas. Could go well.
Galileo newcomer for Ballydoyle, one of three in this race for the yard, a half-brother to multiple winners, including very smart Australian sprinter winner Zoustar.
115,000 gns yearling. Half-brother to several winners the best of which was 1m 4f Listed winner Rose Rized. Shaped better than 50-1 odds implied on last month's Curragh debut, can be in the mix with improvement likely.
Second newcomer for Aidan O'Brien in this line-up, with trainer running three in total. Galileo colt brother to smart winner up to 1m2f Mekong River and useful 1m winner Simply Beautiful, amongst others.
Encouraging debut over 7f at Limerick last month, though didn't truly build on that when 13L third since at Bellewstown over this trip, chasing home market principles. Likely to find a few those too good.
Filly has improved in each of three maidens at the Curragh and Limerick so far (yet to race beyond 7f). Likely she needs another fairly significant step forward now.
Forecasts
Arthur's Kingdom (2/9), Hint Of Stars (6/1), Emperor Of The Sun (8/1), War Cabinet (10/1), Baby Zeus (12/1), Getawiggleon (20/1), At War (25/1), Bellsinthewood (33/1)
Having won this last year with Derby hero Anthony Van Dyck, Aidan O'Brien looks to hold a strong hand with three runners. ARTHUR'S KINGDOM is the one with experience having chased home a fancied stablemate on debut and should be ready to make that count now. Clearly, any money arriving for Emperor Of The Sun or War Cabinet would be telling. Hint Of Stars ran well on debut and should improve while Baby Zeus is another debutant that makes appeal on paper.
