Two wins over hurdles a couple of seasons ago at up to 2m3f and tries a new trip here under his top rider. Interesting to see if stays for yard with 25% strike rate here over hurdles.
Won over C&D in September 2017 off 1lb lower mark and landed three chases last year before going point-to-pointing. Encouraging Rules return behind in-form winner over C&D last time and is 2lb lower so has fair claims.
Last win came in Cheltenham handicap chase back in April 2017. Decent run when fifth in Summer Cup at Uttoxeter latest and despite his years is relatively unexposed over hurdles. Should be thereabouts.
Took advantage of plumetting handicap mark to score over C&D penultimate start but beaten favourite last time at Cartmel under 7lb penalty. Raised another 6lb and will do well to return to winning ways off this mark.
Partnered by last year's winning rider. Wore first-time blinkers latest whe fourth of five at Fontwell trying this trip for the first time. Cheekpieces applied this time and hard to say he didn't stay so worth a market check.
1-11 over hurdles, win coming at 2m4f. Appeared not to get home trying this trip for first time over C&D last time out so despite 3lb drop appears to have his work cut out.
Landed two staying handicap hurdles in spring 2017 before two year absence. Struggled first two starts back but showed more last time over inadequate trip when fourth at Uttoxeter. Eased further 5lb and has a chance returned to optimum distance.
Finally off the mark at the 28th attempt when winning over 2m4f at Fakenham in June. Caught a tartar here last time stepping up in trip and may well be in the mix again if in similar mood.
