Sepoy filly who was a clear second behind an easy winner over 6f here last week; ran above market expectations that time and will be wiser now. One to consider.
£32,000 yearling out of an unraced half-sister to Enlace, a 5f-7f winner; yard has a healthy strike-rate with this type and has been in flying form with a 15% success-rate in the last fortnight. Has to be of interest.
Has raced here twice but well beaten on both occasions; slight improvement latest but need to continue to flourish. The betting can guide (was a 100/1 outsider last time).
A Foostepsinthesand filly out of a Noverre mare; she's a half-sister to a 6f winner so possible sprinting will suit. Has a hood fitted on her racecourse debut which does suggest she may not be the most straightforward character. Betting can guide.
Consistent and placed in all four starts so far; supported into favouritism last time but was well beaten by a much improved filly. Her margins of defeat are getting bigger but she's game enough to consider for a place in the frame.
Cost £3,000 as a yearling but showed some promise in overcoming a slow start to finish third at Tipperary last month. The form does look modest but the filly at least knuckled down to stay on near the finish. Might be good vale for an each-way punt.
All of these with experience need to take a step forward but the betting market can be a good source of information as we get closer to the off-time. PUNITA ARORA heads the shortlist of potential improvers; followed by newcomer Lady Penelope and the consistent Glow Worm. Others to bear in mind for future reference are Princess Xena, Burren Orchid and Myrcella, even though the last named needs to raise her game this time.
