Consistent in all five starts this season and won at Haydock two starts ago before second of 10 at Ayr (5f, good) behind Lathom last time. Off a career high mark and that rival is 1lb better at the weights, but has solid claims.
Returned to turf with seconds at Bath and Ripon but ran no sort of race when 18th over C&D on latest start. Down 2lb for that effort and hood is turned to in bid to help him settle. Player if on best form.
In fantastic form for yard who specialise with sprinters and made it two in a row with commanding success at Ayr (5f, good). 6lb rise is fair but looks to be in a good groove and is the one to beat.
Hasn't won since August 2017 and shown no signs of that form in two starts for new stable. 13th of 19 over C&D when last seen in May and connections have turned to wind surgery in bid to spark a revival.
Kept busy this season but has been consistent and overcame tough draw to win at Chester (5f, good to firm) on latest start. Respected but never won off this career-high mark.
Inconsistent sort. Pleasing victory at Newmarket in May but looks to have regressed since, including when seventh in 6f Windsor handicap. Eased once again by the handicapper and could be competitive in this class.
C&D winner two seasons ago and has been improving with every run this season. Close second over C&D last time out puts him firmly in the mix but may perform better in small fields.
Sole win came in maiden last year but took a step in the right direction off career-low mark when fifth in 5f Doncaster handicap when last seen. Eased 2lb again and has place claims, but up against some in-form sprinters.
Wind surgery didn't seem to work as hoped on seasonal return when 10th of 12 at Nottingham (6f, good to soft) in June. Entitled to strip fitter for that run but this looks a tough ask.
Winner on final start at Nottingham last season but has failed to build on that in five starts this year. Recent fifth in 5f Hamilton handicap means plenty of improvement is required. Others preferred.
Fast ground-loving horse who sprang a surprise at Beverley in April and wasn't beaten far in fourth of 1lb higher mark over C&D on latest start. Solid each-way claims with good apprentice on board.
Solid AW performer who produced a career best with narrow win at Wolverhampton (5f) last time out. However looks to be not as capable on turf and others make more appeal.

Forecasts
Lathom (9/2), Jabbarockie (6/1), Holmeswood (6/1), Daschas (7/1), Excessable (7/1), Music Society (10/1), Acclaim The Nation (12/1), Canford Bay (12/1), Wrenthorpe (14/1), Nicki's Angel (16/1), Secretinthepark (22/1), Militia (25/1), Superseded (33/1)
A flurry of in-form sprinters come up against each other in this contest but preference is for LATHOM, who landed some valuable big-field handicaps in the past and has been rejuvenated by an expert sprint trainer. Many have cases to vie for the places, but Execcable's C&D second puts him right in the mix for this as well as Secretinthepark who could run on well at a price off a light weight.
- Lathom
- Excessable
- Secretinthepark
