Progressive last year, culminating in a Listed win on the Rowley Mile. Showed a game attitude when winning a Group 2 at the Curragh last time, beating I Can Fly by 1½L. Seen to good effect from the front that day and may be able to dominate again.

Well suited to fast ground, as seen when winning a Leopardstown Group 2 on Champions' Day in 2018. Has a bit to prove to turn the form around with Beshaayir from the Curragh two starts back and needs a strong pace to aim at to be seen at her best.

Beat a subsequent Group 2 winner when landing the Prix De La Foret last year and travelled best in the Queen Anne when last seen before finishing third of 16. Possibly caught out by the stiff finish that day and sets the standard on form.

Group 3 winner at Sandown last year and running well in defeat against her own sex so far this campaign. Clear career best needed to land any blow in this contest though.

Won a fillies' Group 3 here on the Rowley course at the end of last season and only narrowly denied by re-opposing stablemate Qabala in the Nell Gwyn on return. Too bad to be true in the Guineas and should progress at some point this season.

Impressive when landing a big gamble in the Nell Gwyn here on return and a bit unlucky when meeting some interference in the Guineas here when third of 15. Didn't run her race in the Irish version last time and could bounce back.

Forecasts

I Can Fly (5/2), One Master (10/3), Qabala (10/3), Beshaayir (9/2), Veracious (6/1), Mot Juste (16/1)

Verdict

William Haggas has a particularly strong hand in this race with his pair and the Newmarket handler seems to have found a nice spot for ONE MASTER who put in a very eye-catching run last time out. She should find this easier back against her own sex. It would be no surprise to see Qabala return to form back at this venue. The field wouldn't want to let Beshaayir dominate proceedings from the front with Frankie Dettori on board and she's another who should run well after her creditable effort last time out.
  1. One Master
  2. Beshaayir
  3. Qabala
