Has been successful in both of his two hurdles starts so far, including in novice company last time at Kilbeggan (3m1f). This will be a tougher assignment but he is open to improvement so one to consider.
A C&D winner who won the Grade 2 Strawberry Hurdle at Fairyhouse (2mf) two starts back. Has to settle for third of five runners last time at Down Royal (2m4f). Leading contender.
Has a good strike-rate over hurdles with four wins coming from nine starts. Was second of four time last time he jumped hurdles at Killarney (2m4f). Remains off the same mark. One for the shortlist here today.
Was successful at this course over 2m in a big runner field back in December. He then finished second over this C&D on his next start. First run since February but he was running consistently well before his break. Each-way chance.
Was successful twice at the back end of 2018, including over the longer trip of 3m. Has struggled for form since, with his latest outing coming at Kilbeggan (2m) where he was last 10. Needs to bounce back.
Has been in fantastic form over fences where he has been successful on his last four starts, including latest at Wexford (2m4f). Still something to prove over hurdles but is off a much lower mark. Leading chance.

Forecasts
Peregrine Run (1/1), Doctor Duffy (9/2), Chatham Street Lad (6/1), Woodland Opera (6/1), Rashaan (7/1), Tombstone (7/1), Dr Mikey (15/2), Great Trango (20/1), Lachlan Bridge (20/1)
RASHAAN showed his class earlier this year to land a Grade 2 contest at Leopardstown. On the basis of that form alone, he is the standout selection here and should have a great chance of returning to winning ways. Peregrine Run can't stop winning over fences so it will be interesting to see if he can transfer his form to hurdles where on the face of it, he has a great chance off this mark, while Woodland Opera has to be respected over hurdles given his impressive strike-rate.
- Rashaan
- Peregrine Run
