AW winner over 6f early in the year, looks to have gradually eased his way back to form of late until running below-par last time over C&D. Two solid efforts prior to that can't be ignored off this mark; may have the race run to suit from the front.
Well used to running here (four-time course winner, twice over this trip), scored his latest victory at this venue in May off a 4lb lower mark. Never really in the same form since including two tries here; hard to write off, still fairly treated.
Blinkers now reached for (first-time) in an effort to end this season struggles that have seen her slide back down the handicap (back on last winning mark). In mitigation she was far from well placed last time, could outperform her form figures.
Had threatened to come good and duly did so eased in grade here last time over the bare 5f (goes well at this venue). Perfectly at home over this trip also (won twice over it) at 5lb penalty makes things harder but another bold bid anticipated.
C&D win here late last year came out of the blue (suited by being held up off a strong pace) off this same mark. Hasn't really encountered the same scenario since (unlikely to here); her recent form (two runs over C&D) leaves something to be desired.
Relatively poor maiden who has still yet to taste success after 16 starts; placed on her last two starts over 5f but essentially of limited appeal. 1lb out of the weights she makes her debut at this course; generally held up.
Perked up a little when fitted with blinkers on her second start of the year over C&D but her two subsequent efforts have failed to see her build on that modest effort. Essentially disappointing and makes limited appeal even in this grade.
Tongue-tie (first-time) now joins the blinkers that were initially worn last time when dropping down 2f in trip to 6f. Shown little promise in all her five outings so far; looks to face a stiff enough task from just out of the weights.

Not a particularly strong affair and with TOOLATETODELEGATE in fine form she is presented with a good opportunity of recording another course victory over this slightly longer trip despite the 5lb penalty. There aren’t many that like to race prominently in this field and that will favour Holdenhurst who if forgiven a below-par run over C&D last time comes into this with some sound enough claims off a reduced mark. Jaganory is another who knows his way around this venue and can’t be ignored as he’s still reasonable treated while Quick Recovery would get the vote as the contender most likely to perform better than her form figures suggest.
