Improved from debut to finish a distant third at Punchestown last time out. Dam a half-sister to a bumper winner and this mare may still be capable of better.

Yet to win in seven starts but showed promise in a maiden hurdle at Tipperary in May. Has each-way claims for a yard bang in form. Wears first-time hood.

Ran well in defeat on debut in a Tipperary maiden hurdle and built on that when second of 10 at Downpatrick last time out. Yard going well at present and sure to have more to give here.
Getaway mare, dam a point-to-point winner. Excellent second of 18 on debut at Punchestown last month when sent off at 50/1. Travelled very well that day and while bred for further, she's not one to rule out.
Pulled up in her only point-to-point starts and might just want a bit further than this. Opposable on Rules debut here.

Oscar mare who built on her first two runs when returning with place efforts at Killarney and Wexford. Too keen most recently at Tramore and may do better when stepped back up in trip.

Daughter of Fame And Glory out of a Daylami mare. Half-sister to winners The Welsh Paddies and 2m1f hurdle victor Clondaw Anchior. Looks a long term prospect.
Shantou mare. Dam unraced sister to 2m-2m4f hurdle winner Cashel Dancer, half-sister to 1m2f Listed winner Dance Partner. Pulled up on debut but it was a better effort at Wexford next time; probably wants a step up in trip though.
Finsceal Fior filly out of a Distorted Humor mare. Dam won over 1m. Very keen on debut last month when finishing 10th of 11 at Clonmel, likely to need more time.

Pulled up on debut at Wexford last time out, well beaten a long way out and can only be watched after that effort.

Ran well in two maiden hurdles and too keen on bumper debut at Cork last time out. Could do better if she can settle here.

Forecasts

Caer (11/10), Blue Heather (6/1), Above The City (13/2), Kashmir Wilde (7/1), Getaway Some Day (7/1), Westernerona (10/1), La Baie (14/1), Tina's Girl (20/1), Coosan Clover (25/1), Haondotri (66/1), Saol Iontach (66/1), Seo Sceal Eile (66/1)

Verdict

CAER has shown a decent level of ability in her two starts to date and she rates as the one to beat for an in form yard. Getaway Some Day went close to causing an upset on debut and could go well again having shown enough ability to be of interest. Westernerona is an each-way player if she can return to the level of her maiden hurdle form.
  1. Caer
  2. Getaway Some Day
  3. Westernerona
