Effective at this trip and well handicapped on old form; has undergone wind surgery and rejoined his current yard since last seen. Ran well over C&D the last time he raced here for this trainer, so possible place claims again. The betting can guide.
Won four of his last five starts and been in good heart since having wind surgery; best over 2m though and not certain to last home over an extra half mile.
0-9 over hurdles but starting to get the hang of things for his former trainer and finally proved he gets this trip with a solid run when last seen (in April). Had wind surgery and joined a flourishing yard since. Well worth a betting check.
Poor form posted so far and plenty to prove on debut for a new yard and in making his first start since wind surgery. Others much more convincing.
Has course experience but is on a long losing run and plenty to prove at present; yet another who debuts for a new yard.
Still a maiden and not much encouragement taken from her recent return from wind surgery. Hard to recommend on the limited evidence available.
Set to race from 11lb below his last winning mark and hinted at a return to form with a solid effort at Southwell last month. Interesting for a place if able to dish out a repeat dose but he's never been noted for consistency before today.
Failed to complete in two of her last three starts and faces another stiff test in racing from 9lb out of the weights. Needs a career best even at this modest level.
Stiff test on these terms and has shown very little in the limited number of times he's been seen on a racecourse since undergoing wind surgery. Not difficult to overlook once more.

Montys Angel (5/4), Alltimegold (9/4), Grand Enterprise (11/2), Ossie's Dancer (7/1), Dan Gun (10/1), Realta Dawn (14/1), Baile Liam (16/1), Roberttown Rose (40/1), Wells Gold (50/1), Sirius Star (66/1)
All of these have questions to answer; some are debuting for a new yard, while others are also returning from wind surgery... MONTY'S ANGEL is doing both but is in the minority in that he posted an improved effort when last seen out. His trainer has developed a solid reputation for bringing the best out of his new recruits and this fellow is well worth considering. Ossie's Dancer is back with a yard that knows him well and he too merits a betting check, as does the in-form Alltimegold, but there are reasons to be cautious; especially given that all his best recent form has been posted over a shorter trip.
- Montys Angel
- Ossie's Dancer
- Alltimegold
