Still looking for a breakthrough success in 13 starts on turf but the filly has consistently hit the frame on seven occasions. May need a couple to falter.

Nothing of note in three career starts to date including a heavy defeat at Cork when last seen in April. Makes handicap debut but may have draw concerns to contend with.

Promise shown in a number of spins on the AW at Dundalk earlier in the year transferred to turf last month when finishing well in a Leopardstown 7f handicap on good ground. Capable of a bold bid.

Out of luck in six starts over a variety of trip on the AW at Dundalk last year. Best watched on turf debut and first start since December unless the market suggests otherwise.

Filly who deserves a change in fortune following a couple of near misses at Leopardstown last month. Repeat of recent efforts should see the her in the hunt for more prize money.

Jarrocho21
Age: 3|  Weight: 9-0| J: Chris Hayes| T: D Marnane| OR:  58
13/2
11-race maiden without any success in eight starts on turf. Produced possibly a career best when finishing fifth of 14 beaten 3¾L in a Gowran Park handicap over 7f last month. More needed.

Jungle Jungle23
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-13| J: Colin Keane| T: A McGuinness| OR:  57
4/1
Nine race maiden who is yet to hit the frame in five starts on turf. Plenty to take out of the Bungle Inthejungle geldings runs last month but has a potentially sticky draw to contend with here.

Sensual Scent16
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-13| J: Robbie Colgan| T: J J Murphy| OR:  57
33/1
Three-race maiden who has started at big prices on all starts, running accordingly on each occasion. Possibly worth a market check on handicap debut.

Nothing of note in a number of dismal efforts over varying distances since returning to the track in March. Easily dismissed with negative draw another concern.

Frow14
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-4| J: K J Leonard| T: D Donovan| OR:  48

Produced a career best with a surprising run to finish fourth of 15 beaten 2L in a Tipperary 5f handicap last month. Step up in trip not sure to suit.

Joe The Jewellerp1,t1219
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-4| J: M A Gallagher| T: T Hogan| OR:  48
25/1
Beaten over 9L on each of his three career starts to date and first time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role on handicap debut.

Shcamama22
Age: 3|  Weight: 8-4| J: C P Hoban| T: T Cooper| OR:  48
66/1
Sent off at big prices on four career starts including on seasonal debut when trailing in 12th of 15 beaten over 19L at Limerick last month. Draw concerns on handicap debut doesn't help his cause.

Forecasts

Syrena (7/2), Jungle Jungle (4/1), Paris Duvet (4/1), A Step Too Far (5/1), Jarrocho (13/2), Dare To Flare (12/1), Severus Alexander (18/1), Frow (20/1), Joe The Jeweller (25/1), Sensual Scent (33/1), Knockgraffon Lass (50/1), Shcamama (66/1)

Verdict

The Henry De Bromhead yard boast a 24% strike rate with all runners in the last 30 days, with a 50% win and place strike rate with Flat contenders in the same period. The trainers, PARIS DUVET can get off the mark on turf at the fifth attempt here following up on a solid run behind Libras Power at Leopardstown last month. In a race with many negatives beside the majority of the field, Syrena and A Step To Far appear to be the biggest dangers.
  1. Paris Duvet
  2. Syrena
  3. A Step Too Far
