Son of Teofilo cost 20,000 gns as a yearling; a fifth foal and a half-brother to winners Dirchill and Get Back Get Back. Stable in decent form and capable of readying a newcomer. One to note in the market on debut.
Kitten's Joy colt fetched $20,000 as a yearling; a sixth foal and a brother to winners Normandy Kitten and Shepherd Gate. May need a bit further in time but one to note for this stable on debut.
Cityscape colt has been very slowly away on both starts at Doncaster and over this C&D. Made some late progress last time but will need big improvement to be involved.
Has shown pace in both starts and built on promise of debut with a battling second at Chester over 7f. Extra half furlong should help and sets the standard. Stable won this last year and a leading hope.
Casamento colt built significantly on his soft ground debut when second over this C&D on good ground. Stable won this two years ago although are quiet at present. Leading contender if continuing on an upward curve.
Son of Camacho gelded ahead of this debut; first foal cost $48,000 as a foal and £5,000 as a juvenile. Stable has only run one other juvenile this season but that has already been successful. Market should prove best guide.
Gelded son of Due Diligence has raced to a similar standard in a maiden and when third in a seller so far. Plenty of improvement required to be involved in this company.
Casamento colt fetched $10,000 as a foal and 5,000 gns as a yearling. Struggled over 6f on debut and will need much further than this in time. Best watched for stable who also run Lion's Vigil.
Society Rock filly, cost 10,000 gns as a yearling. Sister to 6f juvenile winner and half-sister to four more winners. Dam a winner over further. Well beaten at Carlisle on debut and best watched for now.
Daughter of Passing Glance was sent of 80/1 and very well beaten over 6f at Thirsk last month. Remains easy to overlook.
Forecasts
King's Caper (1/2), Frasard (3/1), Typsy Toad (14/1), Lion's Vigil (14/1), King's Charisma (16/1), Our Dave (16/1), Little Ted (20/1), Carriesmatic (66/1), Harswell Approach (66/1), Teasel's Rock (100/1)
KING'S CAPER has already looked a typically tough front runner for his stable and could be hard to pass on his third start. Frasard looks the only danger of those with experience and their form is closely matched. King's Charisma catches the eye on debut.
