Broke his maiden at Hamilton (1m4f) last time in a nine runner field where he was staying on strongly at the finish. Gone up 3lb for latest success but looks to have found an improvement at this distance. Interesting jockey booking. Big claims.
A maiden after seven races and has yet to hit the frame since finishing third of seven at Newcastle (1m) on the AW on her debut. Shown no sign of being close to opening success in two starts this season. Needs to find much more.
His sole victory came at Ayr over 7f back in July 2017. Now being campaigned over a much longer trip. Was fifth of nine here over 1m2f on his first start for his new yard last time. Off a career low mark but has to improve.
Scored at Redcar (1m6f) three starts back and then recorded a C&D success here next time out. Struggled to make the step up in class on most recent appearance when fourth of five at Ripon (1m4f). Big player on drop down in class.
Still a maiden after 11 starts but was fancied to go well last time when going off as the 3/1 joint-favourite at Ripon (1m4f) where he could only finish sixth of nine. Been given another chance by the handicapper. Each-way claims.
Showed some promise on the AW last season but has struggled in his three starts on turf so far this season, with his latest effort coming at this track when fifth of 13 over 1m2f. Has been eased 5lb by the handicapper so one to watch.
Has come close a couple of times on the AW to breaking his maiden tag but has yet to impress on turf. He was sixth of nine last time at Redcar (1m6f). Is taking a step down in trip here which is interesting and it could help. Others preferred.
Has been busy campaigning on the AW without success earlier in the year but a return to turf produced his best effort of the season far when third of 13 at Carlisle (1m1f). Up in trip so does need to prove stamina. One to watch.

Agravain (2/1), Ninepin Bowler (5/2), Kensington Art (4/1), Tabou Beach Boy (4/1), Steel Helmet (5/1), Arms Of The Angel (11/1), Law Equity (16/1), You Little Beauty (16/1), Jagerbond (20/1), Midnight Warrior (20/1), Biz Markee (25/1), Size Matters (33/1)
NINEPIN BOWLER appreciated the step up in distance last time to prevail at Hamilton and a 3lb rise in the weights may not be enough to stop him from following it up with another success at this trip. Agravain will be the biggest danger now he is back down to the level he had two wins at recently, while Kensington Art now looks to be off a mark he can have success at so should not be ignored.
- Ninepin Bowler
- Agravain
- Kensington Art
