Sprang a surprise when winning a bumper at Listowel in September. Two poor runs over hurdles in May and June did not hint at imminent success.
Returned from long absence to finish 2nd in a similar race at Rosscommon in May. Disappointed last time out at Ballinrobe. Worth another chance but drying ground may not be in his favour.
Never threatened in his two recent maiden hurdle outings. No reason to see why he should suddenly improve to score even in this weak contest.
Encouraging third place last time out at Tramore after reasonable effort on his seasonal reappearance at Punchestown. In light of the lack of quality in the field, he must hold every chance.
Stoutly-bred gelding and is a half-brother to multiple winners. Hard to assess but market should provide some vital clues to his chances.
Not shown much form on two starts over hurdles this year at Tramore and Killarney. No obvious reason why he should improve; has won two point-to-points so has some ability.
Pulled up on only hurdles outing and very little form in point-to-points to get excited about; not an obvious winner.
Little worthwhile form on the Flat or over hurdles.
The fact he has only completed one point-to-point race in five starts tells its own story.
A couple of promising point-to-point runs of late give him some claims but still unlikely to be good enough.
Comprehensibly beaten on both his hurdle starts to date. Not really the type to win this.
Unfancied and no show on both his racecourse starts. Hard to see him being competitive here.
Up against it on all known racecourse form. Brought down on debut and two poor subsequent runs.
Moderate point-to-point and bumper form. Not much to recommend on hurdles debut.
Lightly raced and has shown a modicum of form much better than most of his rivals. His 3rd place at Rosscommon recently rates some of the best of the form on show and very much a leading contender.
Has some reasonable form in his limited racecourse appearances. She was a good second in a similar race at Rosscommon last year. Chances but may need this outing.
Suitable name for her ability. Never closer than 30 lengths away on any of her three starts and never shorter than 25/1.
No real ability under Rules or in point-to-points. Hard to make a case for.

Not a race to get too excited about and very few with chances. RASIYM probably has the best form of those going to post and is a tentative selection. Gambling Mistress has some fair form and would probably not need to be fully fit to get competitive against this bunch of moderate contestants. Big Tree needs to put a poor run last time out behind but can go close while Fightfortheroses also merits closer inspection.
- Rasiym
- Fightfortheroses
