Dundalk winner is without success in six starts on turf. May have been given a chance by the handicapper for the first time in six starts since initial assessment in April. One for the shortlist.
One from 12 starts in her career with the sole win coming in a Fairyhouse 6f contest 12 months ago. Worth a market check for a yard with a 50% win and place strike rate from 18 runners at this meeting in the last four years.
Landed a shock when getting off the mark at the third time of asking winning a Leopardstown in May at odds of 33/1. Makes handicap debut here for a yard with a good record with their Flat representatives at this meeting since 2015.
Usually seen on the AW at Dundalk, the Toronado filly finished sixth of 17 in a Fairyhouse 7f maiden last month when beaten 4L. Capable of a big run for a yard among the winners last month.
Without a win in seven Flat starts on turf, though the Kodiac gelding has been far from disgraced on any occasion. Has plenty to offer and much respected in this contest.
Holds better form on the AW with the Dandy Man gelding without success in seven starts on turf. Not a forlorn hope, but others still more convincing.
Will have disappointed connections with a couple of defeats this term. Not beaten far on handicap debut last month and first-time blinkers expected to trigger an improved performance here.
Has yet to hit the frame in seven starts on turf including on four seasonal starts to date. Recent efforts have been below-par and is hard to fancy in this company.
Without a win or a place in five career starts to date. Must hold respect for a yard who don't send many to this meeting, but boast a 43% strike rate from seven runners in the last fours years. First-time blinkers to trigger improvement.
Forecasts
Gerry's Way (2/1), Festina Plente (4/1), Jupiter Road (9/2), Tracing (6/1), Singer (9/1), Beleaguerment (10/1), Vhagar (12/1), Hummingbird (14/1), Vallambrosa (18/1)
The Aidan O'Brien yard boast an 86% win and place strike rate at this meeting since 2015 and their Galileo filly, TRACING can get off the mark at the sixth attempt. The filly, Singer, a major disappointment for the Ger Lyons yard this term can emerge as the biggest danger in first-time blinkers on handicap introduction, while the Joseph O'Brien trio of Jupiter Road, Vallambrosa and Vhagar are worthy of consideration.
