Verdict

SAM LANGFORD sets the standard on form and he is taken to overcome a wide draw to get off the mark at the third time of asking in this maiden contest. The selection has a top jockey in Chris Hayes in the saddle and the partnership can get the better of their rivals with Bajan Excell who has shown some fair form in two previous starts capable of claiming second spot ahead of Brothers In Arms who is making his seasonal debut.
