Modest performer who has been well below even that level of late over longer trips than this. Never been seen at a trip like this before and hard to see her getting involved against the three-year-olds; well held at Brighton yesterday over 1m2f.

Faces a stiff task based on the official ratings having one piece of novice stakes form to her name before failing to impress on handicap debut (7f) last time at Chepstow. Looked a hard ride (hung left from halfway); faces her first try at 5f.

Cheekpieces on for the first-time she's a long way ahead of these at the weights looking at the official ratings. Handicap form over 6f-7f isn't outstanding; disappointing if she couldn't make her class count here despite dropping to 5f (first time).

Looks very limited on her three starts so far over 6f-7f although at least she managed to beat a couple of rivals home on her stable debut last time. Yet to start at less than 80-1; almost impossible to make a case for her, tries 5f for the first tim

Produced a most taking debut on the AW (7f) just failing to hunt down a more experienced rival after being tight for room when launching her challenge. Failed to meet expectations when beaten at odds-on next time, now with a new yard dropped to 5f.

Forecasts

Heritage (1/4), Vandella (11/4), Bonny Blue (14/1), Dutch Melody (50/1), Isla Skye (100/1)

Verdict

This could be a very one-sided event with three of the runners having very little chance on what they have shown so far Bonny Blue the best of that trio but she faces an uphill battle at the weights to land this. HERITAGE and Vandella are the two that stand head and shoulders above the rest here although both have to cope with the drop to 5f for the first time. In truth Clive Cox’s filly looks the best of that pair having already run well in a Class 3 6f handicap.
  1. Heritage
  2. Vandella
  3. Bonny Blue
