On a handy mark but has a poor strike-rate of 1 from 20 on turf; poor effort latest needs to be considerably eclipsed if he's going to defy top weight.
All bar one of her previous seven starts have taken place on the AW tracks and the filly has a lot to prove after a poor run at Bath last month. Big improvement required in the first time cheekpieces.
Relatively lightly raced but has yet to really fire this season and is running out of excuses for not exploiting the handicapper's leniency. Others make more appeal from a betting perspective.
Won here three times and this trip shouldn't present too many problems in this sort of company. Two poor recent efforts create a bit of doubt but he'd still be dangerous to underestimate back at his favourite course.
Debuts in a handicap after three moderate efforts; yet to start a race at odds below 50/1 and is very much an outsider at best again here.
Yard won this race with a similar type last year and have a potentially well handicapped candidate on their hands for this repeat bid. The mare has won over C&D before but the ground is likely to be as quick as she'll want it to be.
Refused to race on his last visit to this course and has been well beaten since; off-putting portents for a gelding that is yet to win a race and needs to prove he's not already just on the downgrade.
Suited by this C&D and has to merit an interest now she's back on the same mark as when successful here last October. The mare is versatile on ground preference and has to merit serious consideration in a poor race.
Hard to say he's well handicapped as the gelding races from 1lb out of the weights; he's 17lb below his last winning mark and been out of form for a while. Best watched on debut for a new yard.
A low grade mare who didn't see out the trip here last time and has a lot to do if she's going to break her maiden at the 14th time of asking.
Yard won this race in 2016 but this fellow has rarely shown much in the intervening period; he has won in this grade before but this year's efforts have been modest to say the least.
Nothing in recent starts to suggest the filly is capable of exploiting what has been a steady decline in the ratings. Been off since posting three poor efforts on the AW at the turn of the year and is hard to fancy even in a low key race like this.
Well beaten in all four starts so far; including on handicap debut last time out. Nothing to merit strong support for the gelding this time.

Rocksette (3/1), Rainbow Jazz (13/2), Clive Clifton (7/1), Sussex Girl (7/1), Altaira (8/1), Rebel Cause (8/1), With Approval (9/1), Kennerton Green (16/1), Solitary Sister (16/1), Takiah (18/1), Dutch Melody (25/1), Imminent Approach (28/1), Interrogation (50/1), Duhr (50/1)
This gives ROCKSETTE a decent chance of finally adding to her tally and given that she reserves her best for racing at this course, the five-year-old has leading claims in this moderate company. With Approval is also effective at this course and it would be no surprise to see him go close, while Sussex Girl represents last year's winning trainer and is also respected. With the bottom five set to race from out of the handicap, it's not unreasonable to suggest that Rainbow Jazz can carry top weight into a place in the frame if he strides out to his best.
- Rocksette
- With Approval
- Sussex Girl
