45,000 guineas Hot Streak colt, half-brother to Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes winner Able Handy (also trained by Carroll). Winner at Yarmouth latest, travelling best and finding for pressure, and better ground here may help. Big player once more.
Has a sprinter's pedigree and showed bright speed to win at Leicester last time, despite signs of greenness (hung right). Gets a valuable 3lb from Tom Tulliver here, which may sway the balance in his favour. Will improve.
Nothing outstanding in his pedigree and has not shown enough in two starts to make him of interest here. Can only be watched at present.
Cost £6,000 as a yearling, 12th foal and breeding very much suggests we won't see the best of him until tackling middle distances next year. One to watch today.
Dandy Man colt that showed little on debut at Redcar in May, finishing last of seven and showing signs of greenness. Plenty on his plate here.
Has shown little at big prices on his two starts so far and simply looks to need much more time. No realistic chance here.
Not that cheap at €155,000 as a foal, half-sister to classy sprint winners Great White Eagle and Quarrel (who was Group placed as a 2yo) but hasn't shown that much in two starts and may be one for nurseries after today.
Cost 16,000gns as a foal, price rising to £70,000 as a yearling; third foal; sister to useful 5f-6f 2yo winner Queen Of Bermuda. Some promise to be taken from debut at Newcastle in April but a bit concerning we've not seen her since. More needed.
First foal, dam sister to multiple 5f winner Bondi Beach Boy but yard not known for debut 2yo winners and on that, is best watched today.
Third foal, and a half-sister to 5f AW winner Tammy Wynette. Not disgraced either run, improving a little on latest start but does look more of a nursery type and unless strong in the market, is best watched here.
Showed plenty of speed to lead them at Thirsk before weakening late but it wasn't a terrible effort and this sharp track may suit her. Poorly drawn though, and addition of hood so early is a worry, so others make a little more appeal today.

Forecasts
Bushtucker Trial (5/4), Mia Diva (3/1), Tom Tulliver (3/1), Stone Soldier (10/1), Ellenor Gray (12/1), Orlaith (16/1), Gowanlad (20/1), Stone Princess (28/1), Nice One Too (33/1), Samsar (40/1), Packet Racket (40/1), Tiltilys Rock (100/1), Pacific Coast (100/1)
There's a few of these that are slowly getting the hang of things and will make some appeal once going into nurseries - Orlaith, Mia Diva and the expensive Ellenor Gray are all on that list - but this may concern the previous winners, Tom Tulliver, who impressed with the way he travelled at Yarmouth before coming out on top, BUSHTUCKER TRIAL, who won well at Leicester despite hanging, and Stone Soldier, who may well leave his debut run behind and could easily improve enough to split the pair of them. In the hope Bushtucker Trial doesn't repeat his Leicester antics, he gets the vote.
- Bushtucker Trial
- Stone Soldier
- Tom Tulliver
