Winner at Newmarket (soft) and Ascot (good to firm) over this trip earlier this season before finishing midfield in his hat-trick bid at Haydock latest off this mark. Handicapper may have caught up now.

Landed hat-trick earlier in this season but 10th behind Beatboxer at Haydock next (Aweedram sixth) before better effort in third on heavy ground ay Haydock again latest. Looks well held by the handicapper but yard's runners continue to progress.

Well bred gelding won in his second start at Wetherby (7f) but had to settle for second of 14 at Kempton next under a penalty. Opening handicap mark should be within range and convinced he has more to give now upped to 1m.

$1,000,000 yearling, Newcastle winner at two has raced exclusively at Pattern level with little success since although her Newmarket Listed third last season leaps off the page. Could be well treated for handicap bow.

Off the mark at the fifth time of asking over C&D last time out when landing a soft ground handicap. Upped 5lb here and on very different ground but could still be ahead of the handicapper which not many here probably are.

Forecasts

Destination (7/4), Aweedram (5/2), Wiretap (3/1), Oasis Prince (5/1), Mistress Of Love (16/1)

Verdict

A chance is taken on Listed placed juvenile MISTRESS OF LOVE who has struggled in the Nell Gwyn and a German Listed race this season. This represents a huge class drop and her handicap mark looks very fair. Wiretap won over C&D latest and looks sure to go well again with no concerns that this faster surface won't suit. Highly unexposed Destination can't be underestimated for course top trainer William Haggas.
  1. Mistress Of Love
  2. Wiretap
  3. Destination
