After running with credit in hot handicaps this spring, took full advantage of drop in grade when making virtually all over 1m at Sandown a month ago. 7lb rise may prove lenient, though could do with ground drying as good to soft run was only fair.
Off the mark at fifth attempt in ordinary Thirsk maiden on good to soft and then disappointing when last, beaten 12L by Fox Leicester at Sandown. Needs to bounce back though slower ground should help.
Won a 7f good ground at 2 but disappointing when last of six on comeback last month when blinkered first time at Haydock. Headgear now left off but bit to prove after that.
Much improved since going handicapping in soft ground. following up his Carlisle win with a better effort at Haydock. This is tougher but respected if the ground doesn't dry out.
Quite impressive when landing a bit of a gamble over C&D in early May on good ground. Seemed to find soft ground at Carlisle against on latest but open to improvement if ground isn't too testing.
Yarmouth good to soft win at 2 and best effort since was when second here last week on similar ground. First time cheek pieces worn then retained and due to go 2lb as from Saturday.

He would no doubt prefer a faster surface but in the hope the ground dries out a bit FOX LEICESTER could be a cut above these as he looked well ahead of the handicapper when well backed at Sandown and is taken to follow up. Ginger Fox ran well here last week and a similar effort will put him in the mix while Prince Of Harts comes into the reckoning if connections choose to come here instead of Nottingham.
