£16,000 gelded son of Acclamation out of a dam who was a 5f winner and whose first foal was scored in France. Stable just 1-117 on the Flat over the past five years and this is a difficult track for a newcomer.

Represents connections who regularly have winners here. Has gone at lengthy odds on each of his three starts when failing to threaten. Will appreciate the step up to 7f but others still look more likely.

Easy to back on Sandown debut when making most of the running until fading below the distance. Represents a rider/trainer combination that are to be feared around here, particularly with this age group.
£12,000 son of Dragon Pulse out of a dam whose first three foals have failed to win. Trainer 1-109 with juveniles over the past five seasons.

£18,000 Tagula colt related to four winners. Hard to judge him on a debut effort spoilt by heavy ground, but the yard are just 2-54 with this age group in 2019.

Zebedee filly has finished last of nine on both outings which have come on soft ground over shorter. Hard to see her featuring whatever the conditions here.

Readily outpointed by an odds-on favourite on debut but will come on for the experience like so many for this yard. Bred to suited by this longer trip and the jockey booking takes the eye.

Forecasts

King's Caper (1/2), Sesame Birah (7/2), It's Been Noted (7/2), London Calling (6/1), G For Gabrial (7/1), Saoirse's Gift (16/1), Precision Storm (20/1), Anniemation (33/1), Eileen's Magic (66/1)

Verdict

This is not a particularly competitive affair and it is one which can go the way of KING'S CAPER. Franny Norton and Mark Johnston are a powerful combination here, particularly with juveniles. The son of New Approach was weak in the market on debut in what looked a stronger race than this, eventually beaten 2L into fourth place. Sesame Birah was second in a three runner race on debut but as a half-sister to a 1m4f winner she will relish every yard of this test and makes more appeal than It's Been Noted who did too much too soon last time but who went well here on his second start.
